Project Makeover is looking for one deserving person to receive a complete medical makeover of his or her face and legs. The winner will undergo a medical transformation worth up to $45,000 performed by Lori Greenwald, MD and her staff at Vanishing Veins and Vivesse. That’s right – state of the art medical treatment for your sagging skin, facial wrinkles and varicose and spider veins all for free if you are the winner. The contest and treatments will be followed on Better Connecticut on WFSB.

This Week in Project Makeover - April 9, 2012
Kim and Rosemarie are deep into their makeovers. Both of them are looking great. Last week Kim had treatments on both legs for her vaircose veins. The treatment is called Closure. In that procedure catheters are run into the veins in the leg and then pulled out. As they are pulled out the walls of the vein are heated, causing them to scar and close. It's painless and quick. She was wide awake. You can read more about the procedure at http://www.vanishingveins.net/closure.html.
Rosemarie had advanced laser treatments to her face called Pixel or fractional resurfacing. There's nothing better to completely renew the look of your face. You can read about that procedure at this link: http://www.vivesse.net/FractionalResurfacing.shtml.
WFSB filmed the treatments. Be sure to tune in to Better Connecticut this Thursday at 3 PM to see the segment.
This Week in Project Makeover – April 2, 2012
Things are going well for Kim and Rosemarie. They have already been evaluated at Vanishing Veins and Vivesse. Dr. Greenwald and Anita Wolf (our aesthetic nurse) devised a treatment plan for their makeover. Each of them will be in the office this Wednesday for their first treatment session. They’re excited to start on the transformation road. The WFSB film crew and Olessa Stepanova will be there to film the treatments. That segment will air on Better Connecticut on April 12th at 3 PM. Stay tuned.
Today in Project Makeover - March 10, 2012
Yesterday, Dr. Lori Greenwald announced Project Makeover’s two winners, Kim and Rosemarie, on Better Connecticut with Olessa Stepanova. They will be starting on their transformation immediately. We felt that Katherine, who has given so much to our country through her ongoing service in the military, should not be forgotten. We’ll be giving her a package of free services from Vanishing Veins and Vivesse. Watch yesterday’s Better Connecticut segment by clicking here: http://www.wfsb.com/video?autoStart=true&topVideoCatNo=default&clipId=6826997.
Today in Project Makeover - March 3, 2012
Today is the last day for voting. With over 16,000 votes tallied the race is still neck and neck. Remember, the popular ballot only counts for 50% of each contestant's final score. The other 50% comes from the judges. So, even when all the ballots are counted the winner will only be known by us at Project Makeover. And, we're not going to let that cat out of the bag until Better Connecticut airs next Friday at 3 PM.
Today in Project Makeover - March 2, 2012
The race is incredibly tight. With over 16,000 votes cast, only a handful of votes separate our leaders. Remember to cast your ballots soon. Voting ends tomorrow. Remember Dr. Greenwald will be on Better Connecticut on Friday, March 9 to help Olessa and Scott reveal the winner.
Today in Project Makeover - February 21, 2012

Immediately after the airing of Better Connecticut on WFSB we will begin online voting on this website.
